Kinds
Cushion trucks, narrow aisles and pneumatic trucks are only among the various types of forklift trucks manufactured by Clark. The different models differ in terms of the way they operate. For example, heavy-duty forklifts used for construction and agriculture are powered by an internal combustion or IC engine. Narrow aisle models designed for use within warehouses and other confined spaces are powered by rechargeable battery.

The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks varies based on the kind. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, which depends on the type. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion or IC types are suggested. They could lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks run on AC battery cells, either 36 volt or 48 volt. The internal combustible engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC models have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed kinds.
Frame/Cab
The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and includes overhead protective cover for the operator, the seat and controls. The frame includes the engine, fuel tank, transmission, trans-axle and wheels.
